A House By The Woods
Play as a boy named Daniel as he tries to find his sister on a dark and stormy night.
This game was made for the 8-bit Nightmare Game Jam and is my first attempt at creating a horror game. Please let me know your thoughts with some constructive feedback in the comments.
I had originally intended to create a cave section to the right of the forest but unfortunately ran into a time crunch.

I can definitely see that you worked your a$$ off, good job!
The only big complaint I have is that I can understand the amount of darkness for atmospheric reasons, but it really affects readability of text
